HM Land Registry (HMLR) is looking for great candidates to join as Registration Officers in teams across England and Wales.

About The Role

In this vital role, you’ll carry out key administrative tasks that keep HMLR running. As part of a close-knit team, you’ll process information and deliver HMLR casework, including maintaining and updating the Land Register for England and Wales. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where no two cases are exactly the same. From processing mortgages and discharging and transferring land to answering customer queries, you’ll carry out important work that has real effect on lives and businesses across England and Wales.

As this is an entry-level opportunity, you’ll receive fantastic training to make you an expert in your field. Starting with a two to three-month training period, you’ll learn the skills required to be the best at what you do. With access to an independent learning platform, you’ll be able to progress at your own pace with as much support as you need to grow into the role.

Once your training is signed off, you’ll quickly settle into the role and manage your personal workload. If you want to progress, there are plenty of opportunities to take on extra work and responsibility, and room to grow and move up through the organisation.

About You

You’ll need to be a self-starter, with great organisational and time management skills. With a great eye for detail, you’ll be able to spot mistakes where others don’t. You’ll also be a fantastic communicator, with excellent verbal and written skills, as well as a strong team player.

This is a job with responsibility, so you’ll need to rise to the challenge, taking ownership of the work you do and the results you achieve.
